It Is Time to Have a Group Chat about AI
We need to seriously consider how to regulate the use of AI, long before it can replace the functions of tens of millions to billions of people.

It will not be too long before large language models can create programs for specific languages with well over 95 percent accuracy. Ditto for writing content on the Internet.
For those of us who have not already been replaced and displaced by the Industrial Revolution, this is going to be a John Henry moment for the late Digital Age, only the steam drill is a synthetic neural network and the sledgehammer is your own brain.
